While insurance serves many great purposes and can be critical for catastrophic events, insurance places limits on many aspects of your treatment. For example, insurance can restrict which therapist you are able to see, as well as put limits on the number of sessions. Insurance also requires a mental diagnosis after the first session, which often stays on your records even after treatment ends.
With this in mind, Riverbanks Counseling accepts a small panel of insurances including BCBS, UHC (including Medica and Medicaid), Ambetter, and Midlands Choice, and is private pay otherwise. Accepted forms of payment include HSA, FSA, Check, Cash, Credit Card.
